The Aktogay Copper Mine is located on the southern border of East Kazakhstan Region, in the Ayagoz district of Semey Province, 22 km east of the Aktogay railway. The “Copper Ore Processing Plant” is about 500 km northeast of Almaty. The facility comprises:
– Main process units (Copper-Sulfide Plant Area, Heap Leach Area),
– Clay Washing Plant, Tailings Storage Area,
– Non-process buildings (administration building, laboratory, workshops, etc.),
– Permanent camp area (staff housing, security building, hospital, fire station, etc.),
with external and internal connections via

• Railway
• Water intake structures
The plant’s capacity is approximately 50 million tons/year, making it one of the leading facilities worldwide. Our company was responsible for mobilization and reinforced concrete works for the process buildings on this project.
